Always drink plenty of water before during and after a session. Doing so will replenish fluids lost through perspiration. We recommend and electrolyte drink post session.
To relieve sore and tight muscles massage these areas for faster healing and effectiveness. Ask about our Rapidrelease tools for a fast effective self massage before or after your session.
We offer the use of guided meditation kits for your sauna experience. Highly recommended!
Oils and lotions tend to decrease perspiration by blocking pores. Apply these after your session for best results.
Some minerals can be lost in perspiration. Eating a sensible diet including fruits and green leafy vegetables will replace these. Supplements can also be taken to replenish minerals.
Limit food intake an hour before your sauna. Your body will be able to detox because it will not be using any energy for digestion.
A quick warm shower before sauna tends to increase perspiration as bathing opens pores.
A cool shower after your sauna refreshes and rinses the body of perspiration. The shower is adjacent to the Retreat room.
We will provide one towel to sit on and one for your body. Towel off during sessions which will allow your body to perspire more freely.
Frequent sauna sessions will boost your immune system. Consult your physician for any medical conditions prior to use.
